the side of the Air Port with a proposed flight gap

on the north side and the area edged in dotted red

adjoining is Government land, which may be reserved

on terms to be agreed upon, for buildings if

required for an Air Force Unit.

Within the area edged red are shown the

New Kowloon Inland Lots and roads which were to be

laid out by the Kai Tak Reclamation Co., had the

area not been resumed by the Hong Kong Government.

The triangular area immediately to the

west is the portion of the Reclamation that has been

completed and partly built upon.

The dotted red lines to the north and

west of the reclamation area show a suggested lay-

out of the district.

At present a 50 feet road runs along the

north boundary of the reclamation area and this

road was eventually to become a 100 feet main road,

but it will cross the flight gap the area of which

has not yet been acquired. If the flight gap is

absolutely essential then it is suggested that the present road be diverted round the flight gap as

shown on Plan B, and at some future time the main

road would be formed further to the north.

Figures in black within black circles

show existing road levels in feet above Ordnance

Datum.

Figures in black only show spot levels

of the ground as it exists now.

Figures in red within red circles show

future levels.

Contour lines are shown in black at 50

feet apart vertically.
